Commissions
What a commission looks like
ElectroWood accepts commissions for individual pieces of functional art. There is no fixed catalogue and no standard formula.
A project can begin with something as simple as a required table size, a particular piece of timber, an architectural setting, or an idea that has not yet been fully developed. From there, the details are developed individually.
A commission may involve decisions about:
Tell us what you have in mind — a piece type, a rough size, a colour direction, or just a room you’re designing around.
Timber is selected and the design is developed around it, since the character of each slab shapes the final composition.
Built by hand in the workshop, then finished, photographed and delivered or exported.
Pricing
ElectroWood works on a quotation-only basis. Because each piece is highly customised, the final price depends on its scale, materials, complexity and construction.
Even apparently similar pieces can require very different amounts of material and work depending on the chosen slabs, resin effects, lighting, detailing and support structure. The quotation is therefore developed around the actual piece rather than a generic price list.
Worldwide commissions
ElectroWood is based in the United Kingdom. International commissions are welcome, and finished pieces can be exported worldwide, subject to shipping costs, packaging, handling requirements and any necessary installation arrangements.
